1win on iOS — one listing, one storefront
1win: Sports Betting & Casino
An App Store listing named 1win exists in the Nigerian storefront. Who publishes it, what Apple's store data says about it, and what we could not confirm about the company behind it.

What the listing looks like

Checking you have the right app
Match these against what your App Store shows. They are the fields Apple returns for this listing, and they are how you tell the listing apart from an imitation.
- Seller of record: SOLUTIONS IT SP Z O O
- Bundle ID:
com.global.onewin - Apple ID:
6760818299 - Store listing: https://apps.apple.com/ng/app/1win-sports-betting-casino/id6760818299?uo=4
Operator and licence
Sources disagree about this operator. We publish the disagreement rather than choosing between them. The Curaçao register records that licence against 1Win N.V., not against the App Store seller, and the register's own expiry date for it has passed. We could not establish any corporate link between 1Win N.V. and SOLUTIONS IT SP Z O O.
- Entity claimed: SOLUTIONS IT SP Z O O (App Store seller of record)
- Licence claimed: Curaçao OGL/2024/587/0621, held by 1Win N.V. — see below
What the store actually returns
We queried 183 App Store country storefronts on 6 August 2026, with no lookup failures. An app titled 1win: Sports Betting & Casino returned a result in one of them — Nigeria — and in none of the other 182. It is free, and the seller of record is SOLUTIONS IT SP Z O O.
That is the whole of what the store tells us, and it is worth stating plainly because a good deal
of writing about this brand asserts there is no App Store app at all and offers an .ipa download
instead. There is a listing. Whether it is the operator’s own is a separate question, and the rest
of this page is mostly about why we could not answer it.
One thing follows immediately: Apple’s guideline 5.3.4 requires a real-money gaming app to be “free on the App Store”, and 5.3.3 forbids using in-app purchase to buy gambling credit. So if anyone offers you a paid or “signed” copy of this app, that is not a shortcut to the listing above.
Why one storefront
Guideline 5.3.4 requires such apps to hold “necessary licensing and permissions in the locations where the app is used” and to be “geo-restricted to those locations”. A single-storefront listing is the shape that rule produces. It tells you the scope of the licensing claim behind the listing — not whether the claim is sound.
The licence trail, and where it stops
This is the part worth reading slowly.
The Curaçao Gaming Authority publishes an Online Gaming License Registry. In the edition last updated 29 July 2026, row 367 reads:
OGL/2024/587/0621 — 1Win N.V. — B2C — 147039 — September 06, 2025 — March 06, 2026 — Assessment in progress
Three things about that row, in order of how easily they are misread.
The expiry date has passed. The register gives 6 March 2026 as the expiry, and the register itself was updated nearly five months later with the entry still present and the status reading “Assessment in progress”.
That status is not specific to 1win. The register holds 627 licence rows and 229 of them carry “Assessment in progress” — more than a third. Curaçao moved to a new licensing regime and a large part of the register sits in this transitional state, expiry dates included. Reading this row as an accusation against one licensee would be wrong, and we are spelling that out precisely so nobody does.
The licensee is not the App Store seller. The register names 1Win N.V., Curaçao company number 147039. The App Store names SOLUTIONS IT SP Z O O. Those are different companies in different jurisdictions, and we could not establish any relationship between them.
Who publishes the app
SOLUTIONS IT SP Z O O is the Polish limited-company form — spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością — attached to an app listed only in Nigeria. The developer account publishes exactly one app.
Apple’s guideline 5.1.1(ix) says apps in highly regulated fields including gambling “should be submitted by a legal entity that provides the services, and not by an individual developer”. A company satisfies the letter of that. Whether this particular company provides gambling services in Nigeria is what we could not confirm.
We looked for a Nigerian licence and found an absence in both directions. The Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority publishes a list of licensed operators — Bet9ja, Betway, SportyBet, Betano and others — and 1win is not on it. It also publishes a list of unlicensed operators, and 1win is not on that either. We are reporting both absences because reporting only one would imply something neither supports.
A caution about that second list, which we checked before relying on it: it overlaps with the first one. Betwinner, Melbet, 22bet, MSport, Bangbet and Paripesa each appear on both the licensed and the unlicensed list at the same time. We do not know which side is current, and the regulator does not say. So the fact that 1win is missing from the unlicensed list carries less weight than it looks like it should — the absence of a name from a list that contradicts itself is weak evidence of anything. It is still worth reporting, alongside the reason it is worth little.
What you can do with this: the seller name is on the App Store listing, near the bottom. Compare it with whatever entity the operator names in its own terms. If they do not match, that is worth an explanation before any money moves.
The size
The download is 1.9 MB — 2,022,400 bytes.
That is small for a listing offering sports betting and casino games. We are reporting the number and stopping there, because we have not installed the app. Anyone telling you what a 1.9 MB binary “must” contain is inferring. For scale, the other app we track is 93.5 MB.
The rating
Apple reports 2.9 out of 5, from eight ratings.
Eight ratings is not a sample. To see how little it takes to move: a ninth one-star rating would bring the average to 2.7. Treat it as close to no information rather than as a warning.
What else Apple’s data says
The listing declares iosUniversal and carries four iPad screenshots alongside four iPhone ones.
We have not installed it and cannot say how the iPad layout actually behaves.
It requires iOS 16.0 or later. It is categorised under Sports, Casino and Games — a more candid categorisation than gambling apps that list under Sports alone. Its content rating is 17+ with a Gambling advisory, which under Apple’s definitions means wagering with real money rather than simulated play. It is in English only, with no Hausa, Yoruba or Igbo localisation despite being listed solely in Nigeria.
The listing first appeared on 25 March 2026. The current version shipped on 24 June 2026, with release notes reading in full: “Minor improvements and updates”.
Who this is for
If your App Store is set to Nigeria, this is the only App Store listing under this name, and it is free. Before depositing, check the seller name on the listing against the entity the operator names in its terms.
If your App Store is set anywhere else, the app is not available to you. Changing your Apple Account country would make the listing visible, and Apple documents what that costs — you must spend your account balance and cancel subscriptions first, and you may need a payment method for the new country. What that does and does not change covers it, including the part where it does not affect whether an operator will accept you.
We have not opened an account, deposited, or placed a bet. How we verify.
What works
- An App Store listing under this name exists, contrary to widely repeated claims
- Free to download, as Apple's rule for real-money gaming apps requires
- The listing declares iosUniversal and carries iPad screenshots as well as iPhone ones
- Categorised under Sports, Casino and Games rather than Sports alone
What does not
- Present in one of the 183 storefronts we queried, and absent from the other 182
- Published by a Polish-form company we could not connect to the 1win brand
- Absent from both the licensed and the unlicensed operator lists published by Lagos State
- Store rating of 2.9, from only eight ratings
- Listing first appeared in March 2026, so there is little history to judge
- English only, with no Nigerian language localisation
Our assessment
3.8 out of 10
- Availability How many storefronts list it
- 2 out of 10
- Build What the store metadata shows about the app itself
- 5 out of 10
- Transparency How much we could verify about who runs it
- 3 out of 10
- Usefulness Whether a reader can act on any of it
- 5 out of 10
Set by hand, not measured. The headline figure is the average of the four axes above, nothing more. It is not the App Store's rating and not a prediction of whether you will win money — we have not installed either app. What each axis means.
Verdict
A listing under this name exists in one of the 183 storefronts we queried, which is more than most coverage of this brand will tell you. What we could not establish is the thing that matters most: whether the company publishing it is 1win's own entity, and whether it holds any Nigerian gaming licence. It appears on neither Lagos State's licensed operator list nor its unlicensed one. Check the seller name against whatever the operator tells you before you deposit.
