1xBet on iOS — one app, eleven listings, four publishers
1xBet: Apuestas Deportivas
1xBet reaches more App Store storefronts than any other brand we track, by publishing the same app eleven times through four different companies. Two regulators name those companies exactly. A third names somebody else entirely.
Both links are commercial. They go to the operator, not to the App Store, and we earn a commission if you sign up.
By Casino iOS · How we verify · Updated 8 August 2026
We have not installed this app or played on it. What follows is a record built from Apple’s store data and the sources we cite, not from use.
Sources disagree about this operator. We publish the disagreement rather than choosing between them. All four registers confirm the brand, but not always the same company. The Gambling Regulatory Authority lists Advanced Gaming Limited trading as 1Xbet, and the Gaming Board of Tanzania lists Katavi Gaming Limited trading as 1XBet — both of which are App Store sellers. Lagos State lists the trade name 1XBET.NG under Beauforbet Nigeria Limited, which is not the seller of the app that trade name belongs to; that listing is published by 1XCorp N.V.
Verdict
This is the clearest example on the site of how a betting brand legitimately gets listed in several places at once: a licence covers one jurisdiction, so the brand licenses its name to a locally licensed company and that company publishes the app. Two regulators list the exact companies named as App Store sellers, which is the strongest form of evidence we can get. Two things pull against it. On one listing the publisher is the brand's own Curaçao company while the licence for that same brand is held by a local one — the pattern that works elsewhere is not applied there. And the store ratings, which here rest on tens of thousands of reviews rather than a handful, are middling on every listing that has enough of them to read.
What works
- Two of its publishers appear by name in their regulators' own licensee registers
- A third regulator lists both a sports betting and an online casino licence, matching the two apps that publisher ships
- Reaches more storefronts than any other brand here, each through a separately localised listing
- Enough ratings on several listings that the store average is worth reading, which is rare for these apps
- iPad builds exist, unlike most brands on this site
What does not
- One listing is published by the brand's Curaçao entity rather than the company that holds the licence for it
- Store ratings sit in the low-to-mid threes almost everywhere, on large samples
- Ten of the eleven listings are filed under Sports, so the casino side is invisible to anyone browsing the store
- The advertised welcome bonus differs from listing to listing and its terms appear nowhere in the store copy
- We could not install or use any of these apps, so nothing here judges how the product behaves

Its separate listings
11 distinct apps under one developer account. Apple localises each listing’s name per storefront, so the same app appears under different titles.

Set by hand, not measured. The headline figure is the average of the four axes above, nothing more. It is not the App Store's rating and not a prediction of whether you will win money — we have not installed either app. What each axis means.
We queried every App Store storefront Apple operates for apps published by 1xBet’s developer accounts. It came back with more listings than any other brand on this site, spread across four different publishing companies. The table above shows each one, where it is available and who publishes it.
That structure is the interesting part, and it is not evasion. It is what the rules require.
Why one brand needs four companies
A gambling licence is national. Apple’s guideline 5.3.4 says a real money gaming app must have
necessary licensing and permissions in the locations where the app is used, must be geo-restricted to those locations, and must be free on the App Store
and 5.1.1(ix) says an app in a regulated field should be submitted by
a legal entity that provides the services, and not by an individual developer
Put those together and a brand that wants to be listed in several places needs a licensed operator for each, and each of those operators has to be the one that ships the app. Hence four developer accounts and a separate, separately-named listing behind each licence.
What the registers actually say
We checked the App Store seller names against the regulators’ own published registers. Three of the four checked out, and the fourth did something more interesting.
Advanced Gaming Limited. The Gambling Regulatory Authority’s licensed-operator register lists it by name, trading as 1Xbet, with a bookmaker and a public gaming licence number and the domain 1xbet.co.ke. That is the same company named as the seller of one of these apps. This is the strongest class of evidence available to us: a regulator confirming, by company name, the entity that published the app.
Worth noting for anyone checking this themselves: that regulator is new. The Betting Control and Licensing Board, which most write-ups still cite, now redirects to the Gambling Regulatory Authority, and the old register URL returns nothing.
Katavi Gaming Limited. The Gaming Board of Tanzania’s register of licensed sports betting operators lists it, trade name 1XBet — again, the company named as an App Store seller. It appears in the sports betting register and not in the casino register, which is consistent with what the listing it publishes is: a sportsbook.
Clickwell Ghana Limited. The Gaming Commission’s register lists the trade name 1XBET twice — once for Sports Betting, once for Online Casino, both running to the end of 2026. Two licences, and in the App Store two separate apps from this publisher: a sportsbook and a casino app. The correspondence is exact. The limitation is that this register publishes trade names rather than company names, so it confirms the brand’s licences but does not independently confirm the publisher’s name.
1XCorp N.V., and the one that does not match. Lagos State’s licensed-operator list includes the trade name 1XBET.NG, held by Beauforbet Nigeria Limited, licensed for online sports betting and online casino. It does not appear on the same authority’s list of unlicensed operators — worth saying explicitly, because several brands appear on both of its lists at once and this one does not.
But Beauforbet Nigeria Limited is not who publishes the app carrying that trade name. That listing comes from 1XCorp N.V., the brand’s own Curaçao company. So here the local-licensee pattern the brand follows elsewhere is not followed, even though a local licensee exists and is on the register. We do not know why. It may be an arrangement between the two companies that we cannot see from outside. What we can say is that this app’s publisher and the holder of the matching licence are different companies, and that on the other listings they are the same one.
It is the same app, eleven times
Compare the version numbers and download sizes in the table. The sportsbook listings move in lockstep — one codebase, built once, submitted under a different name and a different publisher per storefront, with the local language and local leagues switched on.
That is why the store copy reads differently on each listing while the product does not: one sells a 300% first deposit bonus, another 200%, another 100%, each in its own currency. Same app, different offer, different company, different regulator. The quotes are collected here.
The exception is the casino app from Clickwell Ghana Limited. It is a genuinely separate, much newer and much smaller build filed under Games rather than Sports — the only listing here that is a casino app rather than a sportsbook with casino games behind a tab. It also has no ratings at all yet, so its store score tells you nothing.
The ratings are worth reading here, and they are not flattering
Most apps on this site have too few ratings for the average to mean anything. 1xBet is the exception: several of these listings carry thousands of ratings, and one carries over ten thousand.
At that sample size the number is real, and it sits in the low-to-mid threes on listing after listing. That is not a catastrophe and it is not good. It is the most substantial user signal anywhere on this site, it is consistent across countries, and it is what a reader should weigh against the marketing in the store description.
What we did not check
We did not install these apps, open an account, deposit or withdraw. Nothing here is a judgement about odds, payouts, support or how quickly anyone gets paid.
We also did not verify a single bonus term. The store copy advertises headline percentages; the wagering requirement, the maximum bet, the time limit and the game weighting appear nowhere in it, and the operators’ own sites do not resolve from our network. Read what a wagering requirement costs before treating any of those percentages as money.
One more exclusion, stated because it changes a number: the sweep also found 1xPass, published by 1XCorp N.V. and carrying a gambling advisory, in more storefronts than every 1xBet betting app combined. It is not a betting app — by its own description it is an electronic club card whose barcode you show to a cashier at a physical betting shop. Counting it would have credited this brand with roughly twice the App Store reach it actually has, on the strength of stores where nothing you can bet in is listed at all. It is excluded from every figure on this page.
